“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” Gospel of John
In celebrating this day may we know the Word of God that became flesh to give us life and that we may know His glory; that in all of our days we would repent and believe in the good news of His kingdom come. As Paul says in his letter to the church at Philippi, let us participate in, confirm, progress in, take courage in, defend, be worthy of, have faith in, hold fast to, take up the cause of, and preach the Gospel.
These times demand we practice our faith over fear, and holding fast, knowing the Spirit of Truth who is with us.
May we pursue Him as He pursues us.
